Answering a call for prayer from her friend Jean
for Carolyn and Daniel. Helen has passed the
prayer request along to us.
Dear Ones: Our Carolyn is
in the Intensive Care Unit at Redlands Community
Hospital following a serious surgery last
Saturday night. Her condition is critical, and
we would appreciate your prayers. The surgery
was necessary to repair complications from her
gastric by-pass surgery 3 years ago. Her
diabetes condition also was a contributing
factor. She is on a respirator and the doctors
give her a 50/50 chance of survival. We feel
that each day she does not regress, is a good
sign. Please pray for her and her son, Daniel,
who is having a rough time, after just losing
his Dad a few years ago. Thanks and love, Orv

Update on Carolyn. 08/10/06 Just received this.
Carolyn has not been well for years and is now
out of pain. Some things we will never
understand, but we do accept God's will for us.
Thank you so much for the meaningful note you
wrote to Orv and Jean. I know they have
appreciated your expressions of caring and the
prayers of your contacts. Helen

Thanks for your message, Helen. Our Carolyn
passed away Tuesday morning about 7:30. The
immediate family was there with her. We are
presently making arrangements, and trying to
hold together. God's plans are perfect—we
just don't understand them all right now.
