Freda: (10/12/06) I am writing to ask everyone to please pray for our dear friend Joe. He was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He will be seen by a medical cancer specialist in the near future. Joe needs an operation. Could you all please keep him in your daily prayers and send this to whomever would pray for him.

Freda: (10/24/06) I am writing to request prayer for my friend Myrtle who will be having an operation this morning October 24th to have her gallbladder removed. Could you please hold her up in prayer. Thank you very much,   Freda
[I received this prayer request from Freda today 10/24/06. We should pray that  surgery was successful on Myrtle and that she will have a swift and uncomplicated post surgery recovery.]

Freda: Update on Joe and Myrtle. Thank you all so much for praying for Joe and Myrtle. Myrtle did have her operation today but Joe goes to see the Oncology Department on Thursday. They have not yet operated on Joe but I will keep you posted. Again thank you all very much and God Bless you for your kindness and prayers on behalf of my dear friends. Freda

Freda: (11/27/06) I have a brother-in-law who is having problems with massive headaches, he has had problems in the past with his heart and also had his leg amputated years back—we think it is all related and we are all fearful of the outcome. We ask for him to be held up in prayer. Yes, we have others on your prayer list, too, but no news on them yet. His name is Joe S and we would ask if you would continue to hold Joe L with the cancer up in prayer and Donna also battling cancer at this time. Thank you. Sincerely, Freda
