Prayer Request Archives Seth Sandy: Hello
everyone. I need prayer for a friend in Weirton, WV. Her son has
an Asthma-like medical problem which has been complicated with
an infection in the lungs. He is 11 and they have no
hospitalization insurance for him and no drug coverage. The doctor
gave him meds he needs, but we need the Lord to touch him. His name
is Seth. Thank you so much. Update on Seth (06/22/06): From Sandy. Hello Everyone, Great news! Seth was released from the hospital today and has astounded everyone at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital. They could not believe that he recovered so rapidly. We all know why. It is our great Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Seth had so many prayers going up for him. We are so thankful, but keep praying, because he has a long recovery ahead of him. I believe it will be more rapid than the hospital thinks, but that's just my faith is a "Great Big Wonderful God," as the song goes. Pray for his grandfather Don Allen. He is still battling the numerological problem. He needs prayer as much as Seth. Thanks again for all the prayers thus far and all those to come. Hank (11/14/06) I was asked by one of the EMFS Prayer Pals if I had heard anything about Seth. I am pleased to provide a praise report on Seth: Sandy (11/14/06) Update on Seth. Hi Hank, Yes, I am very happy to report that Seth is doing extremely well. He did have a bout with this asthma thing he has, but the children that he attends a Christian school with him, had prayer for him and he was back in school within a few days. His mother was sure it would be at least 2 weeks before Seth could return to school. The Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. is astounded at his progress. They told his parents that Seth would probably have problems in school and not to push him too hard, but Seth has been in school, except for those few days, and has maintained an A average. We are praising God for all He has done for this family. I would also ask for prayer for Seth's grandfather, Don. He is in need of prayer. He has a neurological disease and his wife is wanting to find a new doctor for him. Don doesn't seem to be doing well with the one he has. Please pray that their insurance will cover Don possibly going to a clinic in Cleveland. Thank you for asking about Seth. And tell the one who asked about Seth, that Seth can still use our prayers. God is good—all the time.
